Obituary of Coral L. Smith

Coral L. Smith, 64, of 2154 Gesaman Road, Ashville, died Monday October 14, 2013, in WCA Hospital. A native of Jamestown, She was born April 12, 1949, a daughter of the late Chester and Martha Walrod Arters. She was a graduate of Southwestern Central School. Surviving are her husband Haeden Smith, whom she married July 3, 1977; two daughters Candace Smith of Ashville and Tamila Smith of New Mexico; two granddaughters Kayana Begay and John Begay, Jr, a great granddaughter Ava Begay; a brother Randall Arters of Ashville and a sister Patricia Saganes of Henderson, NV. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Grant Cemetery, Niobe. Rev Violet Davidson will officiate. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
