Obituary of David L. Fuller

David L. Fuller, 78, of 5424 Green Flats Road, Ashville, died at 9:20 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 26, 2013) at his home. He was born June 13, 1935, in Watts Flats, the son of the late George and Bernice James Fuller. He attended Panama Central School and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong farmer and worked at Proto Tool for 28 yrs. He was a member of the Watts Flats United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fixing machinery, fishing, and was an avid hunter. He will be missed greatly by his beloved pet, "Abbey Lou". He is survived by a son, Duane Fuller and a daughter, Brenda Fuller both of Watts Flats; a sister, Rosemary (Mario) Cali; a sister in law and brother in law Perry and Marylin Smith of Gold Canyon, Arizona and a sister in law, Maxine Fuller of Watts Flats. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Carlson Fuller, whom he married June 30, 1956, and who died Dec. 3, 2001; a sister, Rita Braley and a brother, Kenneth George Fuller. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Watts Flats United Methodist Church. The Rev. Warren VanDewark, pastor, will officiate. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service in the church. Memorials may be made to the Panama Volunteer Fire Department or Watts Flats United Methodist Church.
