Obituary of E. Carole Biekert Nelson

E. Carole Biekert Nelson of Dewittville, NY died at 9:47 a.m. Saturday November 16, 2013 in Westfield Hospital. She was born May 25, 1928 in Silver Creek, NY the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy Graf Pope. She married Norbert L. Nelson of Jamestown on May 28, 1949. He died on September 7, 1981. They had two sons, David P. (Carolyn) Nelson of Dewittville, NY and Brent H. (Carol) Nelson of Long Island, NY. She was a graduate of Mayville Central School and retired from the Jamestown City Clerk's Office, City Hall in 1985. On October 8, 1988 she married Donald Biekert of Mayville, who died September 30, 2002. Carole was also preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Peters of Dewittville, NY. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Parsons will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
