Obituary of Carolyn A. Anderson

Carolyn A. Anderson, 76, lost her long brave battle with breast cancer on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born April 20, 1937 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Ray and Maxine Freeman Anderson. Carolyn was a graduate of Jamestown Business College and employed by Barmore Sellstrom and the Clarke Box Company for many years. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Jamestown while residing on Liberty Street in Jamestown. Carolyn is survived by her twin brother Raymond, as well as brothers Louis and Carl Anderson. Also surviving are nieces and nephews: Randy, Jonathon, Mark and Evan Anderson and Melissa Meyers; Rodney Anderson and Rhonda Simmons; Don Anderson and Lindsey Pollack; Kerry, Shannon and Jessica Anderson and John Krebs; Greg and Jeffrey Anderson; and many Freeman and Anderson cousins. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Tom Anderson and a sister-in-law, Sandie Anderson. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Childs will officiate. Burial will be in the Stockton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
