Obituary of William Kacey Frazier

William Kacey Frazier was born to Mrs. Naomi Frazier King Brown of November 14, 1964 in Long Island, New York At birth, William was diagnosed with an illness caused by German measles. From birth to the age of four, he was raised by his loving and devoted mother. Due to many complications, he was then housed in a New York state supported health care facility by the name of Willowbrook Resource Home in Staten Island, New York, where he received on-going developmental treatment to meet his physical and mental needs. In 1987, he was transferred from Willowbrook to the Resource Center Home on Chandler St. in Jamestown, NY and three years later in 1990, William found a permanent home and a loving family at the Celoron A. Resource Center Group Home. Throughout the many years, William was blessed to be under the best care of professionals and personal staff members who all adored him dearly. Regardless of his challenges, he was an avid fisherman, an all star fan, enthused about sports and arts and loved to watch the Animal Planet and western movies on tv. He was an outdoor adventurer and was most proud of being a Boy Scout Trooper, where he attended weekly scout meetings. By his choice, William joined the Hillcrest Baptist Church that lifted his spirit, kept him attentive and reserved the place as their motto promised. His lifelong journey ended in the arms of our heavenly father on Friday, September 12, 2014 with his caregivers at his side. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: his loving mother and father, Mr. & Mrs. Earnest Brown of Savannah, GA, a brother, Michael Lee (Lorraine) King of Clermont, FL, his grandmother, Martha Williams of Hollis Long Island, NY, two great aunts, Helen (Billy) Porter Sphan of Bronx, NY, Mrs. Jamesetta (Luke) Inbinet of Dale, SC, five uncles, Raheem Supreme of Brooklyn, NY, Henry (Barbara) Grant of Long Island, NY, Kevin (Gina) Williams of the Poconos, PA, Keith Williams of Long Island, NY, Ronald Williams of Oklahoma City, OK, three aunts, Safiya (Hasib) Abdul-Haqq of Johnston, NY, Keisha R. (Charlie) William-Camerson of Long Island, NY, Karen Cullars of Atlanta, GA, two nieces, two nephews and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
