Obituary of Patricia A. Miller

Patricia A. Miller, 77, of 360 Baker Street, died Friday December 12, 2014, in WCA Hospital. A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born October 4, 1937, a daughter of the late Arthur Lindquist and Bertha Carlson Lindquist Underwood. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School. She had been employed by Brooks Hospital, Dunkirk as a licensed practical nurse. She also had worked as a crossing guard at Persell School in Jamestown. She was a member of Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion Auxiliary. She was helpful to everyone. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, ceramics, handwork and was especially fond of music and dancing. Surviving are her husband Richard Miller, whom she married February 6, 1960; two sons Paul Miller and Richard Miller, Jr., both of Jamestown; two brothers Wayne (Elizabeth) Lindquist of Bemus Point and Jack (Cynthia) Lindquist of Kiantone; a sister Delores (LeRoy) Pattyson of Lakewood; two step sisters Carol Kesby and Donna Pacitti and two step brothers Roy and Bruce Underwood. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Judy Ann Miller. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Dayle F. Keefer will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
