Obituary of Ardoth E. Hedlund

Ardoth E. Hedlund, 95, formerly of Falconer, died Friday December 12, 2014, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born March 19, 1919, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Frank and Jennie Olson Hedlund. She was a graduate of Falconer High School. She was employed by Unigard Insurance as an office worker, retiring in 1981 as a supervisor. She was a member of the Salvation Army and its Home League and League of Mercy. Surviving are several distant cousins. Heidi Nocero and Ben Hedman were especially close to her and considered her to be another grandma to them. She was preceded in death by Sylvia Hedman and Dennis Hedman who were her caregivers later in life. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
