Obituary of Gary A. Gens

Gary A. Gens, 64, of 17 Bush Street, died unexpectedly Thursday December 25, 2014, in his home. He was born May 23, 1950, in Dunkirk, NY, a son of Carmella Mancuso Gens and the late Wesley Gens. Prior to his retirement he served over 20 years in the US Navy. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America Post 865, Legacy Veterans Motorcycle Club and the Patriot Guard. Surviving besides his mother of Ft. Myers, Fl are four children Noah Gens of New Jersey, Christine Hillman of Jamestown, James Bloss of Oregon and Christy Bloss of Jackville, FL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother William Mancuso of Sweet Home, OR and a sister Elaine Weiss of Ft. Myers, FL. Besides his father he was preceded in death by a granddaughter Janette E. Rodriguez and a sister Rosemarie Gruber. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today in the Lind Funeral Home.
