Obituary of Timothy C. Guinnane

Timothy C. Guinnane, 65, of 256 State Street, died unexpectedly Wednesday January 7, 2015, in his home. A native of Jamestown, he was born January 7, 1950, a son of Joseph and Virginia Anderson Guinnane. He was a 1968 graduate of Jamestown High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from SUNY Fredonia. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the US Postal Service for many years. He attended Zion Covenant Church and was a former member of the Vikings. He had a passion for sports and coached Babe Ruth Softball and Boys and Girl Club Softball. He also participated in several fantasy football and baseball leagues. Surviving are his mother of Jamestown; three children Christina Guinnane of Jamestown, Sean Guinnane of Buffalo and Kelly Guinnane of Pittsburgh, PA and two brothers Robert (Camille) Guinnane of Jamestown and Joseph (Janet) Guinnane of Montgomery, IL. He was preceded in death by his father in 1953. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Kilburn will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
