Obituary of Thomas E. Comber

Thomas E. Comber, 44, of 19 Baker Street Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Friday January 16, 2015 in the Emergency Room at WCA Hospital. He was born May 25, 1970 in Jamestown the son of Eugene C. and Kathleen A. Cashmore Comber. Tom was a graduate of Falconer High School and served in the United States Air Force during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was employed as a CNC Operator at Hopes Windows. Tom loved music and was a vocalist with the band Name Your Poison. He also owned and operated C & C Productions, a karaoke and DJ business. Tom was a member of the union at Hopes Windows and the Jamestown Moose Club. Always willing to help anyone in need, Tom traveled to Mississippi following hurricane Katrina to help with the rebuilding efforts there. His family was most important to him. His children were inspired by him. Surviving besides his parents of Jamestown are, his fianc Christina Hall of Jamestown; six children, Nichole A. Comber, Alicia M. Logue, Thomas G. Comber, Robert T. Comber, Danielle Beardsley, Autumn R. Hall; two grandchildren, Dante and Anastasia Graham; three step children, Angelina, Ashlynn, and Maria Hernandez, all of Jamestown; two brothers, Timothy G. (Angel) Comber, of Jamestown; Todd R. (Michelle) Comber of Falconer; his uncle James R. (Helen) Comber of Sherman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna R. Christensen; maternal grandfather, William Allen Cashmore; paternal grandmother, Mary Margaret Comber; and three uncles, Thomas Allen Cashmore, John E. Hessel, and David L. Comber. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
