Obituary of Frank Strudwick

Frank Strudwick, Jr. formerly of Jamestown and New York City, died Tuesday March 24, 2015, in Absolut of Salamanca. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he was born August 2, 1937, the son of the late Frank and Pinkie Goodwin Strudwick, Sr. He was a graduate of George Washington High School, Brooklyn. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Sterling Optical in Lakewood as a lab technician. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge and was an avid camper who loved to fish. Surviving are his wife Mary Lou Gaymon Strudwick of Jamestown; four children Laura (Michael) Lewis of Alaska, Tyrone (Brigett) Strudwick of Madison, OH, Porter Strudwick of Florida and Frank (Lisa) Strudwick III of Jamestown; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and his longtime companion Karen O'Boyle of Jamestown. A celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date. Visitation will be not observed. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
