Obituary of J. Charles Muscarella

J. Charles "Chuck" Muscarella, 84, of 260 Ivy Street, died Wednesday April 15, 2015, in Lutheran. A lifelong area resident, he was born November 1, 1930, in Jamestown, a son of the late Albert and Mary Muscato Muscarella. He attended Falconer Schools and prior to his retirement he was employed by Ludwig Construction and later by Barnes Construction as a carpenter. He was a communicant of St. James Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and making trips to the casino. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are five children Charles (Patricia) Muscarella of Port St. Lucie, FL, Cynthia (Jerry) Maursetter of Jasper, Fl, Robert (Lori) Muscarella of Jamestown, Sharon (Perry) Messina of Jamestown and Mark Muscarella of Jamestown; eight grandchildren Nikol, Charles, Anthony, Christopher, Brandon and Jason Muscarella and Justin and Brittany Messina; eleven great grandchildren Alexis, Ariana, Mia, Jacob, Emma, Lucas, Lilah and Logan Muscarella, Christopher Muscarella, Jr. and Madison and Taylor Messina; two brothers Mike Muscarella of Oklahoma and Sam Muscarella of Jamestown, and two sisters Rose Cresanti of Jamestown and Annette Marchiando of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Marie Destro, whom he married November 11, 1950 and who died October 31, 2007. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
