Obituary of Joyce M. Keith

Joyce M. Keith, 73, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 18, 2015 in WCA Hospital. She was born May 12, 1941 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Walter and Gladys Crandall Reed. Joyce was a 1958 graduate of Jamestown High School. Following graduation, she spent many years as a home health care aide. She was a volunteer for the Literacy Program at the Prendergast Library and enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. Joyce always made holidays special with her baked goods. She is survived by three sons, Randy (Collette) Keith, Danny Keith and James Keith, and two daughters, Tammy Keith and Teena (Jeff) Wright. She was Nana to RJ, Kaylee, Katie and Jake Keith, Levi and Chad (Cherish) Wright, Brandon (Heather) and Erick (Stephanie) Gifford, Heather Keith, and Zoe and Allison Keith. Joyce also had six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sister, Ellen Lockerbie and brother, Louis Reed. A private family graveside service will be held. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lind Funeral Home.
