Obituary of Joyce Ann Kelsey

Joyce Ann Kelsey, 72, of Jamestown passed away at 6:25 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, in the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. A lifelong area resident, she was born February 5, 1943 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Lawrence C. and Geraldine Fiske Kelsey. She was a 1961 graduate of Jamestown High School and had been employed in the housekeeping department at W.C.A. Hospital for several years. In earlier years she had worked for the former Crescent Tool Company and the former Jamestown General Hospital. She loved traveling New York State with her parents and enjoyed shopping, going out to dinner and visiting with her friends. She is survived by her close friend of many years Rita Lee. She was preceded in death by her father who died March 29, 1980 and her mother who died January 25, 1977. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Ray, retired chaplain of W.C.A. Hospital will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Monday in the funeral home.
