Obituary of Patricia Ann Nicosia

Patricia Ann Nicosia, 69, of 91 Harris Avenue, formerly of 118 Valley View Avenue, died Monday August 17, 2015, in her home. A lifelong area resident, she was born August 17, 1946, in Jamestown a daughter of Josephine Guarnieri Nicosia and the late Philip Nicosia, Sr. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. She participated in Adult Day Hab through the Resource Center and also benefitted from the work of the Chautauqua County Blind Association. Surviving are her mother Josephine Nicosia of Jamestown; a sister Barbara (Rodney) Percy of Jamestown; nieces and nephews Lee Ann (Damon) Pierce of Cranberry Twp, PA, Jesse Percy and James Percy, both of Jamestown; great nieces and nephews Noelle (Timothy) Pierce-Butler of Manahawkin, NJ, Brooke Pierce and Wren Percy both of Jamestown and Nicholas Pierce of Cranberry Twp, PA as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Philip Nicosia, Sr and a brother Philip "Butch" Nicosia, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. James Catholic Church. Rev. Darrell G. Duffy will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received in the Lind Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Mass.
