Obituary of Loueva Jean Farnham

L. Jean Farnham, 79, of High Acres Bemus Point, passed away Monday August 24, 2015 in WCA Hospital. She was born October 7, 1935 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Richard and Alberta Forsyth Stoll. Jean had worked at Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility for 12 years, retiring in 2014. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, and loved her animals. Surviving are her husband, Darrel E. Farnham whom she married February 21, 1987; a daughter, Jennifer J. Maly; four grandchildren, Meaghan Maly, Jenna Farnham, James (Lindsay) Bartlett, and Richard Bartlett; a daughter in law, Tammy Bartlett; a sister, Roseanne Gernett; several step children, including Robert and Richard Farnham; and great grandchildren, William, Elayna, and Joshua Bartlett. Along with her many friends, coworkers, and neighbors that she shared her wisdom and wit with over the years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Scott Bartlett; and a step daughter, Darlene Payne. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald A. Haglund, Heritage Group chaplain will officiate.
