Obituary of Timothy William Lee Quackenbush

Timothy William Lee Quackenbush, 56, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in his home following a brief battle with cancer and surrounded by his companion, Dawn and her daughter, Allie. Tim was born September 9, 1960 in Jamestown, a son of the late Dr. Burton G. and Helen Joy Quackenbush. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and had been a member of the LLAMA Club. Friends and family will remember Tim for his kind and gentle way, as well as his great sense of humor. He is survived by his companion, Dawn L. Moser; two daughters: Colleen Q. Kennedy of Victoria, Canada and Sarah McClaran of Jamestown; two grandsons: Beau Kennedy of Victoria and Rory McClaran of Jamestown; and a brother, Dr. John Q. Quackenbush of Phoenix, Ariz. Also surviving are Tim's 'boys', his dogs Kash and Bane. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday following visitation, led by officiant Carol M. Anderson.
