Obituary of Peggy L. Dixon

Peggy L. Dixon, 78, formerly of 36 Linden Avenue, died Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born August 12, 1939, in Bradford, PA, one of 13 children born to the late Patrick and Elizabeth Barber Colley. She was employed by the Resource Center as an aide. Prior to that she had been the first woman to take a man's job at Sylvania in Warren, PA. Surviving are four children Tracy (Bill) Napier, John (Nancy) Cunningham and Elizabeth Kemery all of Jamestown and Kevin (Monique) Cunningham of Virginia and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Dixon, whom she married September 4, 1973 and who died March 22, 2000; a daughter Terrie Abbott and several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald A. Haglund will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
