Obituary of Jane B. Sellstrom

Jane B. Sellstrom, 98, formerly of Hultquist Place and Aldren Ave., passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, in Elderwood at Hamburg, Hamburg, NY. She was born Dec. 9, 1919, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Carl W. and Irene F. Johnson Bergquist. She was a 1937 graduate of Jamestown High School. Before marriage and starting a family she had worked at the Bank of Jamestown. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and was involved in the group, Esther Circle. She enjoyed knitting and her grandchildren were very special to her. Jane is survived by her two daughters, Ann I. (Bruce) Gullberg and Mary ( Robert) Antil; five grandchildren: Dr. Lisa (Scott) Forehand, Laura ( Clinton) Winters, Dr. Michael (Lynn) Antil, Douglas (Lisa) Antil, James (Natalie) Antil; 10 great grandchildren: Ellen, Clara, and Matthew Forehand, Charlotte, Archie, and Trevor Winters, and Olivia, David, Caroline, and Macy Antil. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Warren F. Sellstrom, whom she married Dec. 29, 1945 and whom passed away Feb. 12, 2008. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Tara Lamont Eastman, pastor, and Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt, Chaplain of the Lutheran Home, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one prior to the service in the church.
