Obituary of Teresa D. Mesler

Teresa D. Mesler, 47, of Dove Street Dunkirk, passed away unexpectedly Thursday August 9, 2018 at her home. She was born June 4, 1971 in Jamestown and is the daughter of Clayton and Sally Pratt Mesler. Teresa was a 1989 graduate of Jamestown High School. In 1994, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education. She was currently owner of Treerain Books in Dunkirk. Teresa was a prolific artist and gardener and loved animals, especially her dogs. Surviving besides her parents of Jamestown are her spouse, Grace; and a sister Amy Mesler (Nate Austin) of Portville, NY. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A celebration of Teresa's life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Reverend Robert Arnold will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
