Obituary of Inez C. Carlson

Inez C. Carlson, 73, of Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility, formerly of Tanglewood Manor, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 in UPMC Chautauqua. An area resident all of her life, she was born April 12, 1945, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Carl G. and Katherine A. Johnson Carlson. She was a 1963 graduate of Bemus Point High School. She enjoyed knitting, music and sang in the Golden Gems Choir while living at Tanglewood. She loved spending time with family and will be remembered as being very sociable. Inez is survived by her sister Ingrid Henderson of Port Richey, FL, two nieces Karen Henderson-Brady of Falconer, Kristina (Darren) Hultberg of Land O'Lakes, FL, a nephew Tad (Brenda) Henderson of Gerry, and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Petry, chaplain at Heritage Green, will officiate. Friends will be received from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery at a later date at the family's convenience.
