Obituary of Linda Snow

Linda L. Snow, 72, of 1207 West Third Street, died Tuesday May 7, 2019, in UPMC Chautauqua. Born in Corry, PA, October 29, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Olive Sorenson Smith. She graduated from high school in Burbank, CA and attended Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, CA. While living in California she was employed by Santa Monica Window Cleaners. She was a member of Koinonia Christian Fellowship. She will be remembered as a good cook and for the many children she helped through her role as a foster parent. Surviving are eight children Jeffrey (Shelly) Snow of Reno, NV, Neal (Angela) Snow, Veronica Snow, Anthony (Ranta Rivera) Snow, Kathleen Snow and Susan Snow all of Jamestown, Ben (Laura) Snow of Kennedy and Emily (Joe) Tallacksen of Irvine, CA; seventeen grandchildren; three great grandchildren and siblings Carol Snow, Roger Smith and Joyce Chartion all of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Neal W. Smith, whom she married July 3, 1965 and who died September 8, 2011 and a sister Phyllis Yanik. The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Ronald A. Lemon will officiate. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
