Obituary of Willie Frank Davis

Willie Frank Davis, 67, of Lakewood, passed away unexpectedly Thursday May 16, 2019 in his home. He was born May 25, 1951 in Corinth, MS the son of the late Booster Keys and Ivory Harsley. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1969. He also graduated from Huron University and Gannon University with a Masters Degree in counseling. Prior to his retirement, Willie was a probation officer for Chautauqua County. He attended Park United Methodist Church in Sinclairville. Willie was also a member of the YMCA and served on the board at the UCAN City Mission. He enjoyed collecting clocks and watches, and also loved watching football. Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Elizabeth "Beth" Basile Davis; two daughters, Rachael Davis of Lakewood and Kellianne Davis of North Carolina; sisters, Annie Ruth (George) Wilson of Jamestown, Annie Belle Barton of Mississippi, Pearl (James) Allen of North Carolina, Annie Lee Jones of Boston, his brother, Charles Davis of Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, James and Annie Davis, his son, Frank A. Davis; and his sisters, Queen Smith, Mary John Baldwin, and brothers, including his twin (infant), James "Sonny" Davis, Bobby Joe Davis, and an unnamed baby brother. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Park United Methodist Church. The Rev. James Bailey, retired pastor, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
