Obituary of Timothy David Mihalko

Timothy David Mihalko Sr., 76, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 21, 2019 in UPMC Chautauqua Hospital. He was born November 20, 1942 in Warren, PA the son of the late Michael and Beatrice Pew Mihalko. Tim was a US Army Veteran proudly serving from 1961 until 1963. Prior to retirement, he worked at Cummins and previously at Blackstone. He also was a roofer for over 30 years. Tim was a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association, Eagles in Warren, Celoron Moose, War Vets, and the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion. He loved NASCAR, was a diehard Steelers fan, enjoyed watching Jerry Springer, and hosted pig roasts for 15 years. Tim was a hard, honest worker and was loved by all who knew him. Surviving are his children: Timothy David Mihalko Jr. (Jerri Brown) of Jamestown, Kara Lynn Mihalko (Michael Higbee) of Busti, Scott Allen Dickerson (Tammy) of Panama, Tamara Lee Dickerson of Clarendon, PA, Melinda Shellhouse Devereaux (Daniel Devereaux) of Jamestown, Scott Shellhouse of Texas; nine grandchildren: David Mihalko, Donna Shirey, Max Mihalko, Nicholas Johnson, Krystle Pullan, Tabitha Dickerson, Cora Dickerson, Aaron Dickerson, and Robert Brightman; and many great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael "Mick" Mihalko. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm Tuesday August 27 in the Lind Funeral Home where Military Honors will be offered at 6 pm. Immediately following, a celebration of life will be held at the Celoron American Legion.
