Obituary of Jeffrey W. Lundmark

Jeffrey W. Lundmark, 66, of 28 Venman St. Frewsburg, NY, passed away unexpectedly at 11:25 am Sunday, September 22, 2019, in his home. A lifelong area resident, he was born March 22, 1953 in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Everett W. and Frances Johnson Lundmark. Jeff was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School and had attended Jamestown Community College. Before his retirement, he was a truck driver for New England Motor Freight for several years and had earlier worked for Flickingers and at the former Quality Markets Warehouse. Jeff will always be remembered for his infectious smile and laugh that truly lit up the room when he walked in. He centered his life around his family and friends which was most important to him. He loved watching NASCAR races and reading the daily newspaper. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Judy O'Brien Lundmark, whom he married July 27, 1985, a son, Dr. Jason (Lisa Nyman) Lundmark of Hanover, Mass., a daughter, Jenna Lundmark of Frewsburg, two brothers, John Lundmark, David Lundmark both of Jamestown, a sister, Susan (Greg) Atkins of Jamestown, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father who died March 23, 1981 and his mother who died May 27, 1997. The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, October 2, 2019, in the Lind Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery at a later date. Friends will be received from 1-3pm Wednesday, Oct. 2nd, two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frewsburg Fire Department, 88 Main St. Frewsburg, NY 14738, the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701 or to a charity of one's choice.
