Lou was a graduate of Jamestown High School and was a member of the Glee Club during her years at Washington Junior High School. Before her retirement years, she was employed by the former Sears Roebuck Store for 24 years retiring in 1984. She had also worked for Penny's and the former Valone Cleaners. She loved spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. She enjoyed baking, especially cupcakes, and shared her baked goods with everyone. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting items that she gave to her family and friends. She made many friends in Jamestown, Rochester and Florida that she kept in touch with regularly. She also loved visiting her grandsons and family in Florida.
