Obituary of Carol A. Carson

Carol A. Carson, 82, of Forest Ave., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 in her home. She was born August 8, 1938 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Caccamise Leone. Carol was a graduate of Jamestown High School and earned her associates degree from Jamestown Community College. She was a communicant of St. James Church. Before retirement, she was employed by Chautauqua County Department of Social Services for 32 years. She was a member of the former Jamestown Moose, Ingjald Lodge #65 Independent Order of Vikings, and Herman Kent Post #777 American Legion Celoron. Carol enjoyed cooking, wildlife, and crossword puzzles. Carol is survived by her four sons: Shaun B. (Linda) Carson, Jr., Anthony R. (Michelle) Carson, Christopher J. Carson, Loren A. (Sandra) Carson; nine grandchildren: Kyle, Daniel, Patrick, and Shannon Carson, Nina Headen, Jessica Davis, Christopher and Joshua Carson, Kayla Esbri; eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers: John (Barbara) Leone of Wyoming, DE, Mike (Grace) Leone of Salisbury, MD, and Bob (Gisela) Leone of Palm Bay, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shaun B. Carson, Sr., whom passed away Nov, 5, 2007. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery. A walk-through visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 in the Lind Funeral Home where social distancing will be observed and masks must be worn while inside the funeral home.
