Obituary of Gerald A. LaBelle

Gerald A. LaBelle, 81, of 6 Sampson St., Jamestown, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing. He was born September 14, 1939 in Painesville, Ohio, a son of the late James L. and Genevieve Stickney LaBelle, and was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1958 to 1961. A contractor in the Jamestown area for many years, Jerry was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid fisherman and greatly enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving is his wife, Tracy LaBelle; six children: Steven (Becky) LaBelle of Montgomery, WV, Tammy LaBelle of Jamestown, Holly (Christopher) Gee of Falconer, Jamie Hester of North Carolina, Daniel Dias of Salamanca and Robert Dias of Jamestown; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean (Scott) Cessna of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bertram LaBelle. Friends will be received in a walk-through manner from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home.
