Obituary of Tracy A. Abbey

Tracy A. Abbey, 58, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 8:55 pm Saturday, October 16, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua, with her daughters at her side. A lifelong area resident, she was born March 27, 1963, in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of Marcia Hagstrom Turner and the late Bruce J. Turner. Tracy was a 1981 graduate of Southwestern Central School and earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Erie 1, Chautauqua County BOCES Nursing Program. In earlier years she had worked for the Resource Center, Willcare, and was a waitress at the former Beechwood Restaurant in Lakewood, NY. Surviving is her mother, Marcia Turner of Lakewood, four children: Lacie (Jeffery Thomas) Abbey of Jamestown, Cody (Amanda) Abbey of Panama, NY, Dylan (Teale DiDomenico) Abbey of Jamestown, Danielle Abbey of Jamestown, seven grandchildren: Jonathan, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Noah Figueroa, Mari Abbey, Axel Abbey and Jayda Abbey, a brother, Thomas Turner of Lakewood and a sister, Jodi (John Michael) Moran of Tampa, FL, and her nieces and nephews, Katya Turner, Michael Turner, Hannah Moran, and Jacob Moran. She was preceded in death by her father who died October 18, 2019, and her former husband, Redrum Abbey. The funeral will be held at 3 pm Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pablo and Sylvia Avila will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-3 pm Friday, two hours prior to the service in the funeral home. Masks are required while inside the funeral home.
