Obituary of Marcella E. Danielson

Marcella E. Danielson, 90, of 2123 Southwestern Drive, died Saturday October 16, 2021, in UPMC Hamot, Erie. She was born August 16, 1931, in Whitesville, NY, a daughter of the late Ronald and Doris Carpenter. She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1949 and Jamestown Business College in 1950. Prior to her retirement in 1993, she was employed by Jamestown Public School District as a secretary at Rogers Elementary School. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing mah jong and bunco and spending winters in Florida. Surviving are three children Thomas (Becky) Danielson of Lakewood, Debra (Michael) Goulding of Daytona Beach, FL and Cynthia (John) Burns of Falconer; grandchildren Nichole Goulding, Jeanine Dearman, Lynn Ling, Natalie Burns, Katie Todd, Kelly Honas, Kristopher Danielson and Adam Goulding; great grandchildren Payge and Zoey Ling, Hannah and Aiden Dearman and Jaelynn Nagel and a sister Kay O'Dell of Lake Wylie, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Danielson, whom she married April 28, 1951, and who died October 1, 2016; two sons James and Gary Danielson and two brothers John and Richard Carpenter.
