Obituary of Craig R. Fransen

Craig R. Fransen, 73, of 28th Creek Road in Gerry, died Thursday, December 30, 2021, in his home. He was born May 11, 1948, in Jamestown and was the son of the late Carl G. and Melba Olson Fransen. Craig was the owner and operator of Fransen Fire Truck Sales & Service. He was also a member of the Ellery Rod & Gun Club. Surviving are two grandchildren, Bryanna (Brent Miller) Fransen of Jamestown and Kohl (Cheyanne) Fransen of Gerry; and a great grandson, Cesar Fransen. Besides his parents, Craig was preceded in death by a son, Carl L. Fransen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Peter Dawson, Fire Service Chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
