Obituary of Petrina Mancari

Petrina "Pat" Mancari, 91, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 7:55 pm Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. A lifelong area resident, she was born November 23, 1930, in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mordino Lovecchio. Pat was a graduate of Jamestown High School and was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. In previous years Pat had owned and operated, with her late husband Richard, the former Clair-Vi Shoppe in the Southside Plaza for many years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. "Dick" Mancari whom she married May 1, 1954, and who died May 2, 2011, a son, Richard T. "Richie" Mancari who died July 22, 1997, a brother, Thomas Lovecchio and two sisters, Mary Ann Raineir and Jennie Morreale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, July 11, 2022, in St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. There will be no prior visitation observed.
