Obituary of Graciela M. Anderson

Graciela M. Anderson, 66, of West Oak Hill Rd. Jamestown, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. She was born May 11, 1956, in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico, a daughter of Sara Cardenas Preciado and the late Eduardo Mora Gallardo Graciela was employed by the Jamestown Public School System as a teacher's aide at the Samuel G. Love Elementary School. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, and mother who absolutely loved spending time with her family, especially her Hispanic group of friends here in Jamestown. She was an amazing cook and loved making meals for everyone. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling, taking care of animals, and her many trips to Mexico to visit her family. Surviving is her mother, Sara Cardenas Preciado of Mexico, her husband, Brian M. Anderson whom she married December 5, 1987, a daughter, Leslie (Francisco) Lantigua of Jamestown, NY, and her siblings, Rebecca Mora, Eduardo Mora, Javier Mora, Sergio Mora, and Arturo Mora all of Mexico. She was preceded in death by her father, Eduardo Mora Gallardo. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, February 4, 2023, in St James Catholic Church. Friends will be received in the church hall following the mass. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701.
