Obituary of Elizabeth M. Carlson

Elizabeth M. Carlson, 94, of 2806 Elmhurst Avenue, died in the home of her granddaughter Meghan Carlson. A lifelong area resident she was born October 30, 1928, a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth Cederholm Carlson. Following graduation from Jamestown High School, she was employed by Marlin Rockwell SKF for 42 years as a factory worker. She was a member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Auxiliary. She volunteered many hours to Jamestown Little League Baseball in the concession stand at Bergman Park. An avid bowler, she participated in both the MRC-TRW and Rod and Gun Leagues. She and her mother enjoyed knitting and crocheting, especially making clothes for Ken and Barbie dolls. She also loved time spent with her family. Surviving is her son Keith (Julie) Carlson, with whom she made her home, grandchildren Mark, Matthew and Meghan Carlson and Keith Campbell and thirteen great grandchildren.
