Obituary of Danny L. Seekings

Danny L. Seekings, 69, formerly of Jamestown, died Monday April 10, 2023, in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing. He was born August 5, 1953, in Jamestown, a son of the late Maitland and Marie Terry Seekings. He was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School. As a home care worker, he had been employed by New Visions. He enjoyed painting and was an avid sports fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres and University of Kentucky Wildcats. Surviving is his wife Lynette Burt Seekings, whom he married June 26, 2015; two sons Shawn (Kristin) Seekings of Orlando, FL and Chris (Michelle) Seekings of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren Logan, Christian, Isla, and Killian Seekings; stepchildren Robert, Tobi, Jeremy, Nathan, Angel and Rayecca; fourteen step grandchildren and a brother Donald Seekings of Jamestown. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Seekings. The funeral will be held at 4 pm Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
