Obituary of Lillian I. Chase

Lillian I. Chase, 89, of 4761 Rt. 474, Ashville, died Sunday (May 21, 2023) in her home. She was born October 7, 1933, in Rossiter, PA, a daughter of the late David and Deliah Mae Veite Grove. While living in Bradford she had worked at Spears transistor factory. She enjoyed playing bingo, slots and poker. Surviving are her husband of 67 years James Chase; three children James (Anne) Chase, Jr., of Mayville, Brenda Lowe of Ashville and Jeff (Cheryl) Chase of Sugar Grove; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two children Deborah Barber and Tom Soble and five siblings. The funeral will be held at 3 pm Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Oliveburg, PA.
