Obituary of Amy C. Paterniti

Amy C. Paterniti, 56, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday January 2, 2024, in Heritage Park Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing. She was born September 3, 1967, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of Maurice Paterniti and Sharon Roos Gunnell. Amy was a graduate of Jamestown High School and continued her education with an associate degree at Jamestown Business College. Amy also received her certificate in phlebotomy. Amy loved music and was always quick with a joke. Amy could amaze anyone with her ability to spell words backwards quicker than you could spell it forward. She enjoyed baking for her family. Her kitchen and her home were always open for family and friends. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Besides her parents she is survived by her three children Kristen Hill of Florida, Michael Hutley (Kelly Mara) of Jamestown, Emily (Jacob) Monroe of Warren PA; three siblings: Holly (James) Gatto of Bemus Point, Richard (Michelle) Paterniti of Ellicottville, Chris (Lori Everson) Paterniti of Jamestown and her grandchildren Mavyn, Caiden and Michaela Hutley; Parker and Priscilla Monroe and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday January 6, 2024, in St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 Friday, January 5, 2024, in the Lind Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The Jamestown Boys and Girls Club Alumni.
