Obituary of Maryann Tonkin

Maryann Tonkin, 88, of 26 Bush Street, died Sunday, January 7, 2024 surrounded by her family in UPMC Chautauqua. She was born June 1, 1935, in Tortorici, Sicily, Italy, a daughter of the late Carmelo and Mary Pinzone Ferraloro. She was a communicant of St. John Catholic Church. Surviving is her husband of 60 years Robert E Tonkin Jr. five children Debbie (Robert) Reedy, Ronald (Michelle) Tonkin, Robert (Katrina) Tonkin, Anthony (Theresa) Tonkin and Richard (Krystal) Tonkin all of Jamestown; grandchildren Jade, Ryan and Randalea Rivera, Darla, Charles, and Taylor Tonkin, Kevin and Katelyn Ruhlman, Renee Downs, Toni Marie, Robert, and Jesse Tonkin, Kristopher, Zoie, Julian, Aleacia, and Regina Tonkin; 26 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson Victor Rivera and four brothers Carl, Sebastian, Russell, and Anthony Ferraloro. The funeral will be held at noon Friday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received from 10 am-noon Friday. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
