Obituary of Bryan B. Boardman

Bryan Benjamin Boardman, 37, of Ashville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday January 21, 2024, of a heart attack in his home. He was born November 26, 1986, in Jamestown, the son of Steven and Sally Eckstrom Boardman. Bryan was a 2004 graduate of Southwestern High School. He was a top-notch carpenter who owned and operated Boardman Construction. Bryan enjoyed helping others especially with building projects. His best times were spent with his children, nieces, and nephews. He loved searching for beach glass with his kids and going to their class activities. Besides his parents he is survived by his three children Cassandra, Leah and Ian Boardman who were the light of his life; his children's mother Missy Miller; four siblings: Steve (Karen) Boardman, Amy Watson, John (Jenny) Boardman and Kathy Purdy; several nieces, nephews, aunt's uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lawrence and Frances Eckstrom and Arthur and Joyce Boardman. The funeral will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26th in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Jon Swart of the Global Methodist Ministry will officiate. Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 to 12 p.m., an hour prior to the funeral service.
